Letter of Intent

Any person proposing a new health service shall file with the Authority a Letter of Intent ten (10) days before the submission of an application. The Letter of Intent shall contain sufficient information to advise the Authority of the nature, scope, cost and timing of the project, as well as the location and name of the proposed applicant.

A certificate of need application must be filed ten (10) days after the Letter of Intent.

The application must be accompanied by the appropriate fees as defined in W. Va. Code §16-2D-13(b)(2). An application will not be accepted without the appropriate fee.
