Quality improvement consists of systematic and continuous actions that lead to measurable improvement in health care services and the health status of targeted patient groups.*
The HCA plays an active role in identifying and proposing needed changes in the system and reallocation of resources to achieve a health care system that is cost effective, while balancing considerations for affordability, accessibility and quality. The HCA is devoted to ensuring a quality health care system through collaborative health system quality improvement project development and participation in both the public and private sectors.
