Overview

The West Virginia Health Care Authority administers two grant programs: the Rural Health Systems Program and the Hospital Assistance Grant Program. The grant programs provide approximately $1.6 million in grant funds to eligible providers such as small hospitals, rural clinics, and county ambulance providers for essential services.
